Florence continues to attract attention from vacationers around the world – including European travelers.

Anna Nooshin, an influential “video blogger” from The Netherlands, with a large international following, has made a vlog about her recent trip to Oregon and posted it on YouTube.

Nooshin is one of the contributors to the NSMBL blog that boasts 1,840,302 unique page views, 19,500 followers on Twitter, another 27,200 followers on Instagram, has 136,934 likes on Facebook, and 17,738 subscribers to its YouTube channel. Nooshin’s personal YouTube channel alone has 54,390 subscribers and 3,501,690 pages views.

“These are impressive numbers,” said Craig Sanders, president of Hoagland Properties, owners of The River House Inn and The Old Town Inn in Florence. “She has quite a following in the Netherlands, across Europe, and beyond. Her main audience is the upscale, young, professional European — a very desirable traveler to attract to our area.”

“The Oregon portion of her trip shows up around the seven-and-a-half-minute mark, but The River House Inn and other Florence attractions actually show up around the 15-minute mark,” said Meg Trendler, Tourism Sales Manager for Travel Lane County. “The River House Inn provided passes for a recent European Press Trip conducted by Travel Oregon, and from all accounts, everyone had a great time; and investments like those of The River House Inn and The Old Town Inn are starting to pay off.”

Included in Nooshin’s report from Florence were Le Bouchon, Windrift Gallery, and Sea Lion Caves.
